Bew: Suppose that the underlying distribution F is Bernoulli with parameter p. In this case, a4 = -3 + [p(1-p)]^{-1} and hence the corresponding cF in Equation (2.2) is strictly increasing and continuous function of p for p in (0, 1/2] with values ranging from 0 (when p->0) to c1 (when p = 1/2). Hence, for every 0 < c<= c1, there is p in (0, 1/2] such that cF = c implying that cS2 has the smallest MSE for this F, which in turn establishes the admissibility of cS2 Meine Ideen: Und zwar versteh ich den Teil "continuous function of p for p in(0, 1/2] with values ranging from 0 (when p -> 0) to c1 (when p = 1/2)" nicht.

Variable . |
